After six long months of searching high and low, I've found and bought a bike! Despite what some people may think, a bike is a big purchase and I was starting to get nervous about finding one in my price range. It didn't help that Justin is now in the $1000+ price range for a new (mountain) bike so everything he was showing/sending me was way out of my league. I just wanted something that felt "right" and that I could start out on; when I found this one on Craigslist I was pretty excited! Justin and I went and test rode it/bought it last night; turns out the guy who had it listed works at a bike shop and he told us that this particular one is practically brand new (condition-wise) and that he already tuned a few things up. It's technically a men's bike but I fit on it well. I don't know the specifics about the components but I know it has 29 inch wheels and that's supposedly pretty nifty (a fast bike).
I'm definitely excited to ride now that it's starting to cool down outside :)
