Weekly Gratitude #10

I had a super crazy/busy week which is why I am posting this a few days late. Nevertheless, still very grateful for the following:
  • Brunch. Last Sunday morning my mom and I ventured to The Monterey in Southtown for brunch. I had been once before and my mom had never been so I thought I would treat her to amazing food! We both had wonderfully yummy dishes and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful mom that I have fun with anywhere and everywhere!
  • Babysitting. On Tuesday night I got to babysit sweet little Lily :) She was/is such an angel and I would gladly babysit her many more times (are you reading this Cassandra?!).
  • Success. I had a test on Wednesday morning for an online class I recently finished. The class was "General Site Valuation and Cost Approach" which is a necessary stepping stone towards becoming a state certified appraiser. The class was also a very helpful review for the comprehensive exam that I'm taking at the end of October. Despite my doubts I passed the test! PHEW!
  • Foreigner/Journey. Wednesday night Brian, Justin and I rocked out to Foreigner and Journey live at the AT&T Center! I felt like the night was a "once in a lifetime" experience and I'm so grateful to have been able to go :) I even saw the drummer of Journey the next morning at Starbucks (but was too chicken to say anything...)!
  • The little things. I'm thankful for the pretty roses Justin left on my doorstep last Sunday night :)

A sweet surprise.
