A day late but still just as grateful for the following:
- Joan Jetta. My reliable mode of transportation which got me safely to Houston and hasn't failed me in the wonderful (almost) 6 years I've had her :)
- Nice hotels. No, I'm not staying at the Ritz but my super cozy Hampton sure does beat the dive I survived last night! I'm in Houston for a review course and I made the mistake of thinking an inexpensive hotel would be "okay". WRONG. As I was checking in I'm pretty sure a hooker went upstairs to the room 3 doors down from mine and on top of that my room/towels/sheets smelled like smoke so I, in turn, ended up smelling like smoke. It was too late to make a change last night but I definitely checked out this morning as fast as I could! I'm now very comfortably situated in a Hampton hotel which is ooooh so much better!!! I'm very grateful for my upgrade :)
- Princeton. No, not the Ivy League school; the dog I'm adopting! He's a 5 year old(ish) sweet little Yorkshire Terrier and I'm super excited about adding him to my life. I hope that he and Coda get along perfectly and I'm super grateful for the opportunity to adopt.
